While so much has changed since we opened our doors in 2003, there is one core principle that has guided us through every obstacle and achievement: children first, last, and forever.
And if there is anything we have learned in our 20 years of operation, it is that when you put children first in everything you do, an entire community of 10,000 can benefit.
Today, more children than ever are enrolling in our partner schools, attending classes, and passing the National Exams necessary to further their education. By revolutionizing education standards, providing critical resources, expanding campuses, and training teachers, we are meeting the needs of over 1,700 students.
With the construction of dormitories at Oldeani Secondary School, we are ensuring students overcome the obstacles of secondary school enrollment and safely complete their education.
By providing microloans and business training to over 600 local entrepreneurs, we are empowering parents to put food on the table, save for their children's higher education, and build a better life for their families.
With over 9,000 patient visits to our Rural Community Health Clinic every year, we are strengthening families and ensuring they can live healthier and happier lives.
Over the next 20 years, we will continue to put children first, last, and forever because that is what they deserve.
