One Year at Oldeani Primary School
When we started our partnership with Oldeani Primary School in March of this year, we knew we had a long road ahead in transforming Oldeani Primary into a school that delivered the kind of education every student deserves.
As we finish the academic year, we are incredibly proud of the team that has been built and the progress that has been made together. In addition to the video above, here is a report of our impact at Oldeani Primary School:
Hired 14 teachers and one School Manager
Provided nutritional support to 690 students
Purchased 2,100 books
Built 208 desks and chairs
Hosted 5 teacher training seminars
Renovated classrooms
Rebuilt the school library
Constructed a new bathroom for students
Our investment has generated immediate results. For the first time in school history, 100% of the Standard 7 class passed the National Exam, qualifying them to continue their education at the secondary level.
However, creating the deep and meaningful change needed to transform our partner schools requires years of consistent support. As we look towards the future, your generosity will allow us to continue this work and bring students the opportunities they deserve.
